LPG Trading

• In terms of volumes sold, Total is a leading worldwide trader of oil and refined products.

• The Group handled 4.6 million tons of LPG in 2005.  This volume represents close to 10% of the worldwide maritime trading for these products.

• Total also traded 3 million tons of LPG derivative products.

Maritime trading

• Total uses extended chartered LPG tankers and also executes many single trip charters.  These tankers may be refrigerated, semi-refrigerated or pressurized and have been selected by the Group pursuant to strict rules.
