• Total is a worldwide leader in the distribution of butane and propane under the Totalgaz brand (among others).

• More than 4,000 employees with recognized expertise work in close to 50 countries.  They exercise their professions in strict compliance with local rules and legislation, as well as Group policies on ethics, safety, technical standards and sales practices. 

Logistics

• Total uses state-of-the-art logistics tools to distribute bulk and bottled LPG. 

The Group fully or partially owns: 

• Numerous interim storage facilities
• Interim storage warehouses (for bulk distribution)
• 160 bottle filling centers

Hundreds of gas stations which, in addition to traditional fuel, distribute LPG fuel.

Positioning

• The Group continues to reinforce its position in mature markets and is pursuing development in new high growth markets.

• In 2005, Total's distribution subsidiaries sold 3,330,000 tons of LPG, including 1,132,000 tons wholesale.
